The Ministry of Housing, through the “Ejar” initiative, has unveiled a mobile app designed to simplify the process of searching for real estate properties registered with Ejar, and through which users can access the latest updates on the real estate rental sector, as well as regulations and laws pertaining to this sector.
Engineer Mohammed Al-Bati, General Supervisor of Real Estate Rental Sector Regulation, explained that the mobile app is designed to help users identify real estate brokerage firms near them and deal with real estate brokers accredited by “Ejar,” as well as to obtain contact information for real estate brokerage firms and learn about the regulations and laws governing the real estate rental sector.
He noted that the app aims to raise awareness of the rules and regulations governing the rental process, as well as the rights and obligations of all parties involved—whether the landlord, tenant, or real estate broker—explaining that “the app” seeks to reach all users of real estate brokerage firms.
