The third session of the Housing Forum in the Kingdom will be held on Tuesday, Jumada II at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh, the annual forum that coincides with the launch of the annual sessions of the Riyadh Exhibition for Real Estate, Housing and Urban Development, which will be held this year from 27 to 30 April 2014 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, under the patronage and presence of the Minister of Housing, Shawish Al-Duwaihi, leaders and officials of the Ministry and the Real Estate Development Fund
The forum will discuss in a main session the models of partnership contracts between the Ministry of Housing and real estate developers. <The forum will discuss partnership models and contracts between the Ministry of Housing and real estate developers in a main session. The importance of choosing this topic for discussion at the forum this year comes after the ministry was recently tasked with planning and implementing infrastructure for all government lands intended for housing, and giving citizens developed residential lands and loans to build on them according to the eligibility mechanism within its housing products, which made the ministry turn and focus on providing infrastructure for the plans, and worked in the past period to develop a new program for close partnership with the private sector to implement housing projects on ministry lands or lands owned by the ministry In this session, Ibrahim Al-Husseini, consultant to the Ministry (McKinsey Global), Mr. Sangeeth Ram, consultant to the Ministry (McKinsey Global) and Dr. Murad Al-Imam, consultant to the Ministry (McKinsey Global) will participate and speak in this session and respond to the inquiries of the attendees. The session will be followed by a dialogue from ministry officials with the leaders of real estate development companies, real estate investors, and all those concerned with the future partnership with the Ministry of Housing about this new partnership mechanism, which the ministry emphasized its keenness to make it successful and benefit from the discussion and exchange of ideas with the participants and attendees from the leaders of real estate development and financing companies to reach a common vision that achieves the interests of all parties and lays the sound foundations for a productive future relationship between the two parties. In the second session of the forum, the Ministry will present an integrated presentation on the features of the National Network for Housing Rental Services (Ejar).
