The Ministry of Housing has issued a decision requiring all landowners whose properties are located within the geographical boundaries of the city of Riyadh, the province of Jeddah, the city of Dammam, and the city of Makkah, as well as those who have transferred ownership of their land, or who have developed or built on such land within one year of the decision to impose fees on them, to update their information and attach supporting documents via the Ministry’s website .
The decision issued by Housing Minister Majid Al-Hogail covers land not subject to fees that is located outside urban areas, is not vacant land, is not designated for residential use, or in cases where there is an impediment preventing the landowner from disposing of it, or where there is an obstacle preventing the issuance of the necessary permits and approvals for the development or construction of the land, or in cases where the application of the fee has been suspended for a portion of the land.
The minister urged landowners within the specified geographic areas who have not yet submitted documents and information regarding their land to the ministry, or whose registration has not been completed, to promptly submit to the Ministry the documents and data related to their land.
