Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Investment, «Taqeem» celebrates the first cohort of accredited assessors

Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce and Investment, the Saudi Authority for Certified Valuers will organize the «First Professional Forum for Valuers» next Wednesday in Riyadh, a specialized forum bringing together the Authority’s members from various valuation disciplines. The event will feature a series of working papers and panel discussions and will highlight the latest developments in the valuation profession. During this forum, the first cohort of members to receive accreditation in the real estate appraisal branch (AR TAQEEM) and the Economic Facilities Valuation branch (AB TAQEEM) will be honored, as will those who have successfully completed the trainer training program in real estate valuation.

On this occasion, the Authority’s Secretary-General, Engineer Sultan Al-Jreis, stated: «Through this forum, the Authority seeks to enrich the scientific content of the valuation profession by holding panel discussions led by Authority members on specialized topics in the field of valuation, It will also facilitate the exchange of experiences and expertise among the Authority’s 970 members from various regions of the Kingdom.

Al-Jreis added: «At this forum, we will honor 110 members who have obtained accreditation in real estate appraisal, 25 members in economic facility appraisal, and 20 certified trainers in real estate appraisal training courses.»

The Authority’s Secretary-General explained: «The Authority offers comprehensive accreditation programs in real estate appraisal, economic facility appraisal, and motor vehicle accident damage assessment, These programs include training courses and professional practice hours, in addition to personal interviews conducted by specialized committees for all candidates seeking accreditation, during which their previous work is discussed to ensure their compliance with standards and their application of the tools and knowledge they were trained in during the training courses.» Al-Jreis emphasizes: ”The appraisal profession is one of the key enablers for achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and these appraisers will have a significant impact and make an active contribution through their professional practice—based on international standards—to the secure growth of the national economy.
