The Ministry of Housing announced that reservations for approximately 1,800 housing units at the “Bawabat Al-Tahlia” exhibition in Jeddah Province have been completed, about three weeks after the reservation phase began, which is equivalent to more than 93% of the housing units made available by the Ministry through off-plan sales in partnership with the private sector to beneficiaries of housing subsidies last December. The “Bawabat Al-Tahlia” project comprises approximately 1,952 apartment-style residential units, with varying sizes and prices starting at 370,000 riyals.

The “Al-Tahlia Gate” exhibition is one of several recently launched by the Ministry of Housing, aimed at providing housing subsidy beneficiaries with a wide range of options, and to increase the supply of housing units that meet beneficiaries“ needs and fulfill their wishes. It is distinguished by its prime location at the intersection of Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Road (”Al-Tahlia“) and Al-Haramain Road, The project’s total area is approximately 190,000 square meters, featuring comprehensive services and infrastructure, including public facilities and green spaces.

It is worth noting that this project is an extension of previous projects announced by the Ministry in a number of cities across the Kingdom. It coincides with off-plan sales projects in the Tabuk region and the city of Dammam in the Eastern Province, in addition to the Arar project in the Northern Border Region. Furthermore, reservations for a number of projects have been completed in recent months, totaling more than 10,000 residential units, including projects in North Riyadh, Dammam, Khamis Mushait, Abha, and two projects in Rabigh Governorate, and two others in Al-Ahsa, in addition to ready-to-move-in villa projects in Bish, Al-Khobar, Al-Mubarraz, and Ramah.

Since the beginning of this year, the Ministry of Housing has continued to launch more projects—including ready-built villas and showrooms for off-plan projects—in a number of regions across the Kingdom, with the aim of providing more housing units to those eligible under the ”Sakani 2017“ program, following the Ministry’s achievement of its target—announced as part of the ”Sakani” program—to allocate more than 282,000 housing units and financing packages during 2017, The Ministry also announced in recent days the second phase of the “Sakani” program, which aims to allocate approximately 300,000 housing units and financing packages.
