Real estate transactions in the Kingdom broke the ten billion riyal barrier for the first time in several weeks, when trading ranged between 6 and 8 billion riyals, as the real estate index recorded an increase of 17.26% with a total value of transactions amounting to 10,840,117,040 billion riyals.
Al Malqa neighborhood in Riyadh recorded the largest deal in the capital with a value of 1.318.025.844 billion riyals, while the total value of deals in Riyadh amounted to 3.857.466.790 billion riyals, distributed over 1042 deals, including 859 deals in the residential sector with a value of 995.365.254 billion riyals, and 183 deals for the commercial sector with a value of 2.862.101.536 billion riyals.
The weekly report issued by the Ministry of Justice during the period from Sunday 8/17/1435 AH to Thursday 8/21/1435 AH showed an increase in the number of notaries in Riyadh, Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, Najran, Abha, Tabuk, Hail, Yanbu, Khobar, Jazan, Sakaka, Jazan, and Ras Tanura.
A decrease was recorded in the notary offices of Dammam, Buraidah, Al-Ahsa, Khamis Mushait, Hafr Al-Batin, Taif, Ar-Rass and Al-Kharj.
Madinah recorded the highest increase in the value of real estate transactions compared to the week before last, with a value of 733,327,242 million riyals and an increase of 108%. Meanwhile, Buraidah in the Qassim region recorded the lowest decrease in the value of real estate transactions compared to the week before last, with a total of 156,023,276 million riyals, a decrease of 44.48%.
