According to reports, Yang Huiyan, vice president of Kantory Garden Holdings, China's largest real estate developer by sales, increased her fortune to $25.6 billion on the back of a surge in the stock price during the first day of New Year's trading.
At the close of trading yesterday, Cantori Garden rose 7.4 % to HK$17.42. In just the first week of 2018, the Chinese company's stock rose by about 17 %.

The rise in Kantory Garden Holdings“ stock came after the company announced on Friday that it achieved sales of 550.8 billion yuan ($85 billion) in 2017. The company's sales exceeded the 500 billion yuan target it set last August.
