Saif Al-Suwailem, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Housing, confirmed that the ministry is committed to providing beneficiaries with a variety of housing and financing options. In each monthly allocation under the «Sakani» program , housing units are allocated to thousands of eligible citizens. These units have a high acceptance rate of up to 70 percent. Beneficiaries have the right to reject a unit based on its quality, location, or other factors, and return to the waiting list to be allocated another unit.

He said that over the course of one year, these products have met a high percentage of the demand for housing support and helped reduce the waiting lists, which include approximately 1.5 million households registered with the Ministry of Housing and the Real Estate Development Fund.

He noted that these products help boost supply, stimulate demand, and increase homeownership rates in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020. and from this perspective, the Ministry continues to launch more housing and financing products under the «Sakani” program. These products include ready-to-move-in housing units and off-plan units, totaling 120,000 diverse housing units, including villas, apartments, and townhouses, which are distinguished by their quality and prices ranging from 250,000 to 700,000 riyals, as well as approximately 75,000 plots of developed land provided free of charge in various cities and provinces, and 85,000 financing packages supported by the Real Estate Development Fund in partnership with banks and financial institutions.
