The Ministry of Housing launched the first phase of the 2018 “Sakani” campaign today, Monday, which included 19,481 housing units for beneficiaries, with the January batch comprising 8,300 profit-sharing housing loans, 4,500 developed residential plots (provided free of charge), and 6,681 off-plan housing units.
The Ministry affirmed its determination to continue meeting citizens’ needs for first-time homeownership, The Ministry of Housing and the Real Estate Development Fund had previously announced that 300,000 housing units and financing products would be allocated across all regions of the Kingdom as part of the 2018 Housing Campaign.
The offerings will include 125,000 housing units in partnership with the private sector, 75,000 developed residential plots provided free of charge, and 100,000 subsidized financing packages through a partnership between the Real Estate Development Fund, banks, and financial institutions.
