During its meeting held today, Tuesday, at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud—may God protect him—the Council of Ministers approved the leasing of land under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture—on a regulatory basis—for the establishment of any activity related to the agricultural sector or otherwise.
The Council also noted the launch by the Ministry of Housing and the Real Estate Development Fund of the first batch of the second phase of the “Sakani 2018” program, comprising a total of 19,481 housing units and financing packages distributed across all regions of the Kingdom, as part of the program’s targets for the current year, which include the allocation of 300,000 housing units and financing packages. The Council also decided to restructure the Board of Directors of Al-Balad Al-Amin Company for Urban Development and Planning.
