As part of its contribution to economic development and its support for the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector, Al-Ahli Bank participated as a strategic partner in the 2018 Young Entrepreneurs Forum and Exhibition, which recently kicked off in Jeddah. The bank announced that it would offer financing opportunities to support businesses at the expo and grant preliminary approval for financing. The bank also covered 15% of the participation fees for all exhibitors at the fair—numbering approximately 250 young entrepreneurs—with more than 2,000 visitors in attendance at the Jeddah International Convention and Events Center.
The bank’s announcement of its success in training male and female entrepreneurs and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises came following an honorary ceremony hosted by His Royal Highness Prince Mishaal bin Majid bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah, on behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of the Makkah Region, honoring Al-Ahli Bank for its strategic partnership in the Youth Business Forum and Exhibition, held under the slogan «With Our Youth, We Achieve Our Vision,» which saw the participation of hundreds of male and female entrepreneurs.
Khalid Bashnini, Head of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Banking at Al-Ahli Bank, expressed his appreciation for His Highness’s recognition of Al-Ahli Bank, expressing the bank’s pride in receiving this honor, which reflects the vital role the bank plays in its community through its various initiatives and contributions toward achieving sustainable development in line with the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030 to support thenational and knowledge-based economy, regional leadership, and the expansion of the productive base through entrepreneurship and the creation of an environment that fosters creativity and knowledge- and technology-based innovation.
