The exhibitions launched by the Ministry of Housing have seen very high turnout and high reservation rates exceeding 70 %, which reflects beneficiaries’ eligibility for housing support, their interest in the program, and the alignment of the diverse housing options offered with their preferences and financial capabilities. Saif Al-Suwailem, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Housing, affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to fulfilling beneficiaries’ aspirations and meeting their needs.

Al-Suwailem added that the Ministry provides villas, apartments, townhouses, and row houses, in addition to various financing options, noting that more than 40 exhibitions have been launched across the Kingdom from last September to the present.

Regarding the decrease in the number of residential apartments in the first phase of the 2018 Sakani campaign compared to previous phases, he explained that this phase cannot be classified as a decline because it represents a new stage of the Sakani program, noting that future batches will see a clear increase, as was the case in the 2017 Sakani campaign.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Housing recently announced the first batch of the 2018 Sakani Campaign, which included 19,481 housing units for beneficiaries, including 6,681 off-plan housing units, 4,500 developed residential plots (provided free of charge), and 8,300 housing financing packages (profit-subsidized).
