The Ministry of Commerce eliminates the requirement to audit the incorporation contracts of companies and introduces electronic systems to complete the procedures

Posted in

The Ministry of Commerce and Investment has eliminated the requirement for manual review of company incorporation contracts and replaced it with automated electronic procedures carried out through the Companies System, thereby speeding up the incorporation process, as part of efforts to streamline the process of starting a business in the Kingdom, so that company formation is automated and does not require waiting for the Ministry’s approval.

The Ministry explained that this amendment enables customers to incorporate their companies through the Fast Electronic Contract service, adding the details they deem appropriate to the articles of incorporation, which are then automatically and immediately approved through the Ministry’s portal and the “Maras” portal.

The Ministry is currently working to expand the scope of electronic solutions to make them more integrated, covering activities that require approvals or licenses from authorized government agencies, as well as amended contracts and other corporate services. The Ministry of Commerce and Investment reaffirms its relentless efforts to improve the business environment, empower enterprises, and provide a stimulating environment for investment, which positively impacts the business activities of investors in the Kingdom as a whole, thereby achieving the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030.

The Ministry of Commerce and Investment invites individuals and companies wishing to start a business to take advantage of the electronic company incorporation service by accessing the Ministry’s online portal or through the “Maras” platform
