The Riyadh Cooperative Housing Association, in collaboration with Nama Knowledge Company for Exhibition and Conference Organization, plans to organize the «International Housing and Cooperative Housing Forum» under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Riyadh Region and Honorary President of the Society, and with the support and participation of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Housing, and the Council of Cooperative Societies. The event will take place from October 15–17 at Al-Farida Hall in Riyadh.
This announcement followed an invitation received by the editor-in-chief of the newspaper «Amlak» to sponsor and participate in the forum, in which Dr. Abdullah bin Jalawi Al-Shadadi, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, emphasized the role of "Amlak" newspaper in ensuring the success of such forums, given the support and backing the newspaper has consistently provided to economic and development forums aimed at providing affordable housing for citizens.
The forum will examine the current state and future of cooperative housing in light of Vision 2030. The invitation noted that the forum will highlight local and international experiences in housing and cooperative housing, in addition to a number of academic papers and an accompanying exhibition featuring companies, institutions, and several government agencies interested in the housing and cooperative housing sectors.
