King Abdullah Economic City, one of the developers of the “Sakani” housing program, has achieved significant and impressive results that exceeded expectations, as the city completed the reservation of approximately 250 residential units in the “Sakani“ project under the Ministry of Housing’s program in the Al-Shorouq neighborhood within the first few days of the sales launch.
Mr. Fahad Al-Rashid, Managing Director and CEO of King Abdullah Economic City, expressed his delight at this major achievement, saying: ”We extend our sincere thanks to His Excellency the Minister of Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, for his trust, which was demonstrated by strengthening cooperation through a strategic partnership between the public and private sectors via the ”Sakani,” through which the Ministry seeks to provide the largest number of housing projects and increase the percentage of citizens owning units and homes across the Kingdom.“
He added: ”Undoubtedly, the ‘Sakani’ project is a clear example of the Economic City’s commitment to working side by side with all government agencies and various financing companies (Amlak International, Bedaya Home Finance, the Arab National Bank, and Riyad Bank), which demonstrated the speed with which the project was completed and our commitment to delivering it ahead of schedule. The Economic City is honored to have earned the trust of officials at the Ministry of Housing as the first developer in the Kingdom to deliver the first batch of residential units on private sector land.
