The Cabinet approved the extension of the soft mortgage program for two years starting from the end of the period stipulated in the Cabinet decision dated 30 Muharram 1438H. <This came after reviewing the report submitted by the Minister of Housing, and after reviewing the recommendation prepared by the Council of Economic Affairs and Development on Jumada II 19, 1439 AH. <At the end of October 2016, the Cabinet directed the Ministry of Housing, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority, to implement a mortgage financing program called “Easy Mortgage” for the beneficiaries of the Ministry of Housing programs.
