The Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce, represented by the Businesswomen’s Center, is planning to hold a program for women titled «How to Prepare an Economic Feasibility Study for a Project,» at the Chamber’s branch in Qatif. The program aims to foster entrepreneurial initiatives and will cover several key topics, most notably financial, marketing, and technical feasibility studies.
The program, which begins on Sunday, September 14, and runs for five days, will be led by trainer Siham Farah and will cover the following topics: Understanding how to start a project, its potential for development, preparing a market study for the project, conducting a simplified feasibility study, identifying the project’s strengths and weaknesses, and preparing a simplified basic action plan for the project, as well as financial management, financial planning, and record-keeping; the basics of marketing and sales for the project; and ways to utilize computer and internet services in the project, The trainer also discusses the need for small businesses to prepare an economic feasibility study to assess their chances of success—in terms of marketing, finance, and technical aspects—over a specific period of time, based on probability estimates that require precise calculations.
