Within two weeks... 942 villas under construction in the “Al-Qatif” project were fully booked”

The Ministry of Housing announced that all residential units in the “Manazil Al-Qatif” housing project in Al-Qatif Governorate have been fully reserved, less than two weeks after the project’s launch.

In a press release, the ministry clarified that all 942 residential units in the project—consisting of “townhouse” type, have been fully reserved. It confirmed that it has begun the process of signing final contracts with beneficiaries in preparation for the start of project implementation with the approved real estate developer.

It emphasized that the project’s implementation will be supervised and that all guarantees will be provided to citizens who have completed the reservation procedures, in line with all projects overseen by the Ministry.

On July 10, the Ministry announced the start of reservations for the “Al-Qatif Homes” project in Al-Qatif Governorate in the Eastern Province, which is located on an area of approximately a quarter of a million square meters, and provides 942 housing units to be developed in partnership with the private sector. Construction will begin once reservations are complete, and the units will be delivered to beneficiaries within a period not exceeding three years from the date of signing the final contracts.

The “Qatif Homes” project features comprehensive infrastructure, including water, electricity, sanitation, and systems for flood and rainwater drainage, The project also includes numerous sites for public facilities, parks, green spaces, and playgrounds, in addition to designated sites for various government entities in the fields of education, health, and other sectors.

The project offers a variety of housing options for recipients of housing subsidies through a range of designs tailored to meet residents“ needs, featuring four different models and architectural styles with unit sizes of up to 300 square meters, with prices starting at 580,000 riyals. The project is designed to create a suitable residential environment by providing all the essential services needed by the residents of the housing complex.

In the same context, the Ministry of Housing reaffirmed its commitment to meeting all beneficiaries” needs by launching more integrated housing projects—complete with services, facilities, and infrastructure—in various regions and cities across the Kingdom, noting that the coming period will see the launch of other projects, as is customary, on a monthly basis.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Housing announced the launch of the “Sakani” program in early 2017; during its first year, 282,000 housing units and financing packages were allocated across all regions of the Kingdom, It also announced its target for the current year, 2018, to allocate 300,000 housing units and financing packages, which will be announced in monthly batches in the middle of each month.
