The Ministry of Energy, Industry, and Mineral Resources has clarified that there is absolutely no truth to the rumors currently circulating on social media regarding any change to electricity rates.

The ministry confirmed that a change to the current rates is not under consideration.

The Ministry stressed the need for caution before publishing or sharing such misinformation, and urged everyone to verify the accuracy and credibility of news from reliable sources, relying on the official source, the “Saudi Press Agency.”
