The Saudi Electricity Company announced that it began issuing electricity bills for the month of July to customers last Thursday, a process that will continue for the next few days.
It explained that the decision to issue bills on a staggered basis is in accordance with the decisions of the Electricity and Cogeneration Regulatory Authority. The company also confirmed that rescheduling the issuance of bills during the coming period will not affect customers“ consumption in any way, nor will it result in any additional costs.
”Saudi Electricity” had previously confirmed that although the bills will be issued in August, they will cover only the cost of consumption for the month of July, and will in no way include the cost of consumption for the days following the meter-reading cycle, which ended at its scheduled and customary time each month.
