The Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) confirmed that the process of re-enrolling in the Tayseer program for residential subscribers does not entail any financial cost, noting that after receiving a text message to re-enroll in the program, the subscriber can pay only the Tayseer amount, not the full value of the bill, without the need for any additional procedures.

The company indicated that during the past period it has received a number of inquiries and requests regarding the desire of some subscribers to be re-enrolled in the Taysir program, after they were thoroughly acquainted with the benefits of the program and its role in facilitating the payment of the electric service bill by paying the minimum bill, which is the average consumption of the subscriber during the 12 months preceding July 2018, so that at the end of the year the financial liquidation between the company and the subscriber, for him or her.

It is noteworthy that SEC launched this month the Tayseer program for subscribers whose bill value ranges between 300 and 3000 riyals, in compliance with the directives of the Electricity and Dual Production Regulatory Authority to provide flexible payment options for subscribers, and the subscriber has the right to continue in the program and pay the minimum bill value or exit it and pay the full amount due.
