Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department achieved more than 333 million dirhams, as the department witnessed yesterday the registration of 85 sales worth 136 million dirhams, including 11 land sales worth 68 million dirhams and 74 sales of apartments and villas worth 68 million dirhams.

Mortgages recorded a value of AED 197 million, including 21 land mortgages worth AED 171 million and 23 mortgages for villas and apartments worth AED 26 million, the most important of which were in the first Jumeirah area worth AED 96 million and another in the Dubai Maritime City area worth AED 25 million.

The most important land sales worth AED 22 million came in the Jebel Ali area, followed by a sale worth AED 14 million in the Markaz area, followed by a sale worth AED 11 million in the Palm Jumeirah area.

Al Yafra 2 topped the regions in terms of the number of sales with 2 sales worth AED 2 million, followed by Jebel Ali with 1 sale worth AED 22 million and Wadi Al Safa 5 with 1 sale worth AED 3 million.

As for the most important sales of apartments and villas, a sale worth 14 million dirhams in Al Markad came as the most important sale, followed by a sale worth 3 million dirhams in the first Nad Al Sheba area and finally a sale worth 3 million dirhams in Wadi Al Safa 6.

Warsan I topped the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, recording 12 sales worth AED 6 million, followed by Al Barsha South IV with 8 sales worth AED 4 million and Business Bay III with 7 sales worth AED 10 million.
