The value of real estate transactions rose significantly by the end of the week, reaching 2.1 billion riyals, compared to 1.897 billion riyals during the same period the previous week—an increase of 6.5%.
The increase was driven by an 8.9% rise in the value of residential sector transactions, which reached just under 1.699 billion riyals, compared to the previous level of 1.5 billion riyals, while the value of commercial sector transactions fell by 2.4%, settling at 412.5 million riyals by the end of last week.
According to the weekly real estate index, the number of real estate transactions rose by 10.8%, settling at 4,127 transactions, The number of properties sold during the week rose by 11%, settling at 4,214 properties sold, and the total area of real estate transactions increased by 21.5%, settling at 56.8 million square meters.
