Saif Al-Suwailem, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Housing, confirmed that all revenues from vacant land fees are used for the Ministry’s projects. Al-Suwailem stated that the Ministry allocates the collected funds to connecting public utilities and providing public services in housing projects, with periodic announcements regarding how the funds are spent, noting that the Ministry determines how funds from the special account for fees and fines collected on housing projects are allocated.
It is noted that the White Land Program recently announced the allocation of 100 million riyals to complete the implementation and delivery of infrastructure services in the Al-Ayina Housing Project in the Riyadh region.
