<During the month of August, the Ministry of Housing's “Sakani” program delivered 9717 free land plots to deserving citizens, distributed in various regions of the Kingdom, in preparation for starting their construction, as the ease of procedures through the Sakani portal contributed to achieving this number, where all procedures related to the delivery of free land are carried out electronically from submission to signing the contract.
In a press release, Sakani explained that the delivery included 2320 plots of land for deserving citizens in the Makkah region, in addition to 823 lands in the Riyadh region, 827 citizens were delivered in the Al-Jouf region, 76 citizens were delivered their free land in the Hail region, and in the Medina region 829 lands were delivered, while 143 citizens were delivered free lands in the Al-Bahahah region Al-Baha, the program also delivered 2896 residential lands in the Asir region, as well as 644 citizens in the Jazan region received free lands, and 5 citizens in Najran, as for the Eastern Province, the total number of free residential lands delivered was 336 lands, while 679 citizens in Qassim received free lands, and 139 land plots were delivered to beneficiaries in the Northern Borders region...(Residential Program).
The program pointed out that this step comes as a continuation of the previous delivery of citizens benefiting from housing support in various regions of the Kingdom, stressing that the procedures for the delivery of free lands continue in the branches of the Ministry of Housing in various governorates with areas ranging from 450 m2 to 527 per piece, after the beneficiaries complete the reservation procedures and choose the appropriate plan for them. “Sakani” indicated that the free lands that are delivered to the beneficiaries are one of the housing options offered by the program, which also offers opportunities to own a “villa” within the ministry's projects, or buy a housing unit under construction within the projects in partnership with the private sector, in addition to buying a ready-made housing unit from the market, or obtaining a subsidized mortgage loan with profits of 100% for those who own land to build their homes....
