This came in the eighth monthly report for August issued by the «Residential Program», which reviewed the most prominent achievements of the program during 2019, including recent pictures of the latest construction work in the projects that are currently being implemented. The report also pointed to the qualitative leap witnessed by the housing sector by facilitating services and diversifying products to enable Saudi families to own the first home and achieve the program's targets for this year by providing 200 thousand housing and financing options
The number of beneficiaries of the housing solutions provided by the program reached 130,842 families until last August, of which 51,844 families lived in their homes within 8 months, and in August alone, the number of beneficiaries of financing and housing options reached about 21,705 families, and about 5656 families were able to obtain their housing units in August, in addition to the benefit of about 157 thousand families during 2018.
The report of the «Sakani Program» showed that the number of beneficiaries of the housing solutions provided by the program reached 130,842 families, including 51,844 families that lived in their homes within 8 months, and in August alone. <The report of the «Residential Program» reviewed the developments of the implementation and construction work in 55 residential projects that are being built in partnership with the private sector so that these projects provide about 100 thousand housing units distributed in various regions of the Kingdom and are characterized by being integrated residential complexes with integrated services and facilities and provide their residents with an integrated residential environment. He pointed out that there are more than 40 ready-made residential projects characterized by their readiness for housing at an average price of 350 thousand riyals, where these projects are witnessing a demand from citizens reflected in the rates of reservations and are characterized by the integration of infrastructure that includes water, electricity, communications, lighting, sidewalks, road asphalting, green spaces, gardens and public service facilities.
<The report of the «Residential Program» revealed the addition of 21 new residential plans through its electronic portal aimed at providing about 15,390 free land distributed in 8 regions around the Kingdom, namely: Asir, Riyadh, Qassim, Al-Baha, Makkah, Jizan, Medina and Hail, where infrastructure works are being completed. The Ministry of Housing also provides an electronic platform through the “Sakani” program through which the residential plans are presented electronically, where the beneficiary can choose the land suitable for him among 125 residential plans distributed in various regions and cities of the Kingdom and can be viewed through the «Sakani» portal.
