The Ministry of Housing announced its intention to implement its plans to build approximately 26,630 residential apartments, all in multi-story buildings across all cities in the Kingdom, with 630 residential apartments allocated to the Riyadh project, 3,101 residential apartments to be built in the Medina project on an area of more than one million square meters, the Qatif Al-Badrani Housing Project to build 160 residential apartments, the Northern Dammam Housing Project, consisting of 1,901 residential apartments; and the Southern Dammam Housing Project, consisting of 5,564 residential apartments, for a total of 7,465 residential apartments in the city of Dammam, in addition to the Jeddah Airport Housing Project, which will accommodate 4,242 residential apartments, and the Prince Fawaz South Housing Project, which will build 10,663 residential apartments.
The Ministry had previously invited real estate development companies to build 630 residential units (apartments) in residential buildings to be granted to eligible applicants who applied for housing assistance on the Ministry’s website and met the requirements, In addition, the Ministry has allocated 2,242 plots of land through the North Riyadh Housing Project (land and loan). These companies will begin construction of the units in the coming days as part of the Ministry’s plan to partner with the private sector.
Over the past two weeks, the Ministry of Housing has begun receiving eligible citizens for the Riyadh project at the Distribution Committee’s headquarters. More than 100 eligible individuals have received letters informing them of their appointment time to visit the project and view the location of the land allocated to them.
