The Executive Committee for the Governance of Energy and Water Price Adjustments announced the issuance of a royal directive setting the following gasoline prices for June 2021: gasoline (91 octane / 2.18 riyals), and gasoline (octane 95 / 2.33 riyals); these prices will serve as the domestic price cap for gasoline effective July 10, 2021.
The royal directive stipulates that the state will cover any increase over the June prices during the monthly review of prices.
This stems from the wise leadership’s commitment to alleviating the cost-of-living burden on citizens and residents, its ongoing efforts to achieve the public good, and its support for local economic activity.
According to the royal directive, gasoline prices for July 2021—which saw an increase for gasoline (91 octane / 2.28 riyals), and gasoline (95 octane / 2.44 riyals), will be subject to the approved price cap, noting that periodic price reviews will continue without exceeding the aforementioned cap.
