The Saudi Council of Engineers has added three new features to its “Instant Licensing” service for engineering firms, which was recently launched to streamline its e-services and enable users to access them easily and quickly.
The Authority’s Secretary, Engineer Abdulnasser Al-Abdullatif, explained that the Authority is working to improve the speed of its digital services, noting that the Instant Licensing service, launched last June, provides engineering firms with numerous services, most notably the issuance, renewal, and cancellation of licenses, as well as the addition and removal of business activities, adding that the service offers three additional features enabling users to change the office manager and location, as well as upgrade from a specialized engineering office to an engineering consulting firm, all through the “Mamaras” platform in just 60 seconds.
He explained that this distinctive step taken by the Authority to provide the best flexible digital services to all its beneficiaries is part of the plans to develop the engineering firms sector, which the Saudi Council of Engineers is working on under the supervision of the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, to achieve the objectives of its digital services for beneficiaries, advance the engineering sector in the Kingdom, and promote digital transformation—one of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
