The “Residential” program announced , 935 housing units were delivered to beneficiaries within the suburb of “Al Waha” in Dammam, indicating that the projects in which the units were delivered are the “Weaving Town” project and the “Mud” project, where 649 units out of 674 housing units were delivered in “Weaving Town” after the completion rate in the project reached 100% of the size of the units, and 286 units out of 728 housing units in “Mud” after the completion rate in the project reached 90% of the size of the units, while the delivery of the remaining units in the two projects will be completed during the coming period.
The suburb of “Al Waha” extends on an area of about 10 million m2, and provides more than 20 thousand housing units for about 100 thousand people, where the suburban projects in Dammam are characterized by its strategic location at the western entrance to the city of Dammam on the (Dammam-Riyadh) highway, and easy access to it from all different sides, and near a number of vital places in the Eastern Province, where Al Waha is 25 minutes from King Fahd International Airport, about 25 minutes from Dammam Corniche, about 20 minutes from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran, about 14 minutes from Dammam train station, and about 14 minutes from Dammam railway station.
This comes as an extension of the program's keenness to continue to deliver housing units in partnership with real estate developers according to the specified timelines in order to enable Saudi families to own their first home, in line with the objectives of the housing program - one of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 - to reach 70% in 2030.
The Eastern Province is witnessing the implementation of about 34 residential projects that provide more than 22 thousand housing units out of 144 thousand housing units distributed in 101 projects provided by “Residential” to beneficiaries in various regions of the Kingdom, in addition to a range of housing options and services within easy electronic procedures with immediate entitlement, with the possibility of reviewing various housing options, in addition to 223 residential plans that provide 180,537 residential land, issuing quotes, benefiting from the real estate consultant service, choosing typical designs for self-builders, issuing building permits electronically, and electronic waiver of housing support between the two spouses
