The decision to restrict employment in enclosed shopping malls to Saudi nationals takes effect

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced the implementation of the decision to “restrict employment in enclosed shopping malls to Saudi nationals” and the expiration of the specified grace period.
The decision applies to all professions in enclosed shopping malls, and the administrative offices of enclosed commercial complexes, with the exception of a limited number of activities and professions within these complexes. This aligns with the Saudization decisions and the Ministry’s plan to increase opportunities for Saudi men and women to participate in the labor market.
It should be noted that the Ministry, in cooperation with the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf), offers several training and support programs for the professions targeted by the decision.
