The National Housing Company (NHC) today launched the “Asala Al-Jawan” project in the Al-Jawan suburb of Riyadh —one of the major residential suburbs under the Housing Program—as part of the second phase of the Mersia project located in the northern suburbs of Riyadh. The National Housing Company is implementing the project as the lead developer in collaboration with private-sector sub-developers.
“Asala Al-Jawan” offers 600 residential units currently under construction, including villas and townhouses, with a variety of sizes and designs to meet the needs of families, Saudi families wishing to view the units can visit the Sakani Comprehensive Center in Riyadh, and units can also be reserved online through the “Sakani” website and app at https://sakani.housing.sa/project/546988.
The CEO of the National Housing Company, Engineer Mohammed Saleh Al-Bati, explained that the company is committed to its leading role as the investment arm of the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing in real estate development and the housing sector, and to implement and launch numerous projects across the Kingdom to provide future projects and residential units that help families become homeowners and benefit from the “Sakani” program through the development of model residential neighborhoods that offer a high quality of life, within quality partnerships with qualified real estate developers who possess experience and expertise in infrastructure development, construction, and building.
Al-Bati noted that the project spans an area of over 183,000 square meters and is part of the second phase of the Marasia project, which is being implemented by the National Housing Company in collaboration with a number of qualified real estate developers within the Greater Al-Jawan, which extends across a strategic location west of King Khalid International Airport at the intersections of major arterial roads, facilitating easy access to and from the area. The project is distinguished by its unique designs within a modern environment that offers luxury, at affordable prices and with manageable monthly installments.
The Riyadh region is currently seeing the implementation of 25 residential projects providing more than 31,000 diverse housing units with modern models and designs, including villas, apartments, and townhouses, including 13 projects currently under construction in Al-Jawan, the largest residential suburb located north of Riyadh on a total area of approximately 30 million square meters, near King Khalid International Airport.
It is worth noting that during the second half of last year, the National Housing Company launched a number of new projects as the lead developer in collaboration with sub-developers from the private sector as part of the second phase of the Marasia project in Al-Jawan, namely: The Nasaj Town project, which offers 690 villas; the Al-Narges View project, which offers 728 residential units; and the Al-Muhandia project, which includes 628 villas, in addition to the Saraya Al-Jawan project, which includes 936 townhouse units, and the Al-Rabia project, which offers 670 villas. These projects saw high demand, leading to the reservation of the majority of their units within days of their launch.
