The “Sakani” program issued its report for August, including the highlights of its achievements until July 2021, and a set of data and statistics on construction updates in projects, beneficiary families, and the number of real estate disposal certificates.
The report highlighted the benefit of 12,640 families during the month of July, including 9,926 families who lived in their homes, within the program's continuous efforts to enable Saudi families to own the first home, to achieve the goals of the Housing Program - one of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 - to reach 70% ownership rate by 2030.
The report also highlighted the developments of construction updates in 72 projects that provide more than 100,000 housing units ranging from apartments, villas and townhouses characterized by integrated infrastructure and competitive prices, and the program allows through the website and application of “Sakani” electronic review and reservation electronically within 223 residential plans, providing more than 180,000 residential land, distributed in various regions and cities of the Kingdom.
“Sakani” explained that the total number of certificates to bear the real estate transaction tax for the first home since the beginning of the program until the end of last July reached 524,469 certificates.
The report reviewed the housing and financing solutions provided by the program, which includes subsidized mortgage loans in cooperation with banks and financing institutions, to buy ready-made housing units under construction or self-construction for those who own land, and booking residential lands within the plans of the “Sakani” program.
The “Sakani” report included the benefit of 124,208 families, including 97,822 families who lived in their homes since the beginning of the current year 2021 until the end of July, of which 53 thousand families benefited from the subsidized mortgage loan to buy ready-made housing units, 40 thousand families benefited from the subsidized mortgage loan to benefit from the self-build option for those who own land, 13 thousand families benefited from the subsidized loan to buy housing units under construction, and 17 thousand benefited from residential lands.
It is noteworthy that the application and website of “Sakani” offers a number of integrated electronic services, starting from registration and knowing the status of entitlement immediately, direct reservation of housing options after inspecting their locations and knowing the financing solutions and their features, ”price quotes”, real estate consultant service, ”engineering designs”, ”approved contractor”, issuing building permits for beneficiaries of self-building and other services.
“Sakani” reviews 102 projects that provide about 144 thousand housing units ranging from apartments, villas and townhouses at competitive prices within an integrated residential environment.
