The program explained that this announcement aims to emphasize the owners of undeveloped land subject to the system in Tabuk, according to the geographical scope that was previously announced; to register their lands in the electronic portal of the “White Land” program at the link (click here) before the deadline expires on September 18, 2021, to avoid a non-registration fine of up to 2.5% of the value of the land, in addition to the imposition of fees on their land.

The program confirmed that the results of the studies conducted by the program team in cooperation with the concerned authorities during the past period, resulted in the application of the system in a number of cities and governorates, where the first phase was applied for white land, which includes undeveloped land with an area of 10 thousand square meters and more, located within the scope determined by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, in Medina, Asir, Taif, Jizan, Tabuk and Al-Ahsa, provided that it will extend to other cities to be announced and details of applying fees in the coming period. This comes within the program's efforts to achieve several main objectives, including increasing the supply of developed land to achieve a balance between supply and demand, protecting fair competition and combating monopoly. The Ministry also periodically reviews undeveloped land in cities to determine the application of fees in them or suspend it or apply more than one phase and move to the next phase in one city.
