The Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing stated that more than 11,000 engineering firms and contractors had been accredited through the “Baladi” platform as of the end of last August.

The ministry explained that this is intended to make it easier for beneficiaries to obtain building permits, noting that the number of accredited firms and contractors in Riyadh reached approximately 4,097, 2,611 in Makkah, 2,484 in the Eastern Province, 522 in Madinah, 493 in Al-Qassim, and 431 in Asir.

It added that the number of accredited engineering offices and contractors in Jazan stands at 212, in Hail at 202, in Tabuk at 163, 136 in Al-Jawf, 74 in the Northern Border Province, 68 in Al-Baha, and 192 in Najran.
