“Sustainable Construction” starts checking contractors' compliance with the label

The “Sustainable Construction” program has begun offering a service (to assess contractors“ compliance with classification standards), with the aim of verifying the quality of contractors” work and improving the quality of construction in the real estate sector, This service is part of a series of services provided by the program to enhance construction quality through unit inspections.
The program explained that the service provides reports on the extent to which contractors comply with quality and safety standards and preserve the urban landscape, and allows these reports to be shared electronically with the Classification Agency at the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, The report includes verification of safety and site protection requirements, environmental safety, and occupational health.
The program noted that the service request process begins with registration via the Sustainable Construction Program’s online platform at https://www.mostadam.sa, followed by entering the project details, after which the application is submitted and the service fees are paid, following which the accredited inspector conducts the inspection in accordance with procedures approved under international quality standards.
It is worth noting that the “Sustainable Construction” program offers numerous services to enhance the quality and sustainability of real estate units, such as the “Construction Quality Inspection” service and the “Prefabricated Building Inspection” service, in an effort to improve the quality of units on the market, develop the real estate sector, provide more sustainable housing options, and raise awareness among individuals and developers about the importance of these services in achieving quality, in addition to reducing material and economic losses and enhancing safety and quality of life in homes.
