During its meeting today, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Saudi Cabinet approved a number of decisions, most notably:
– Approval of the rules governing privatization.
– Approval of the mechanism and governance for concluding trade and trade-related agreements.
– Approval of the final accounts of the General Organization for Social Security (formerly) for the previous fiscal year.
– Authorizing the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Space Commission—or his designee—to sign the joint statement of interest in space-based climate monitoring.
– Approval of a draft memorandum of understanding in the investment sector between the Ministry of Investment in the Kingdom and the Public-Private Partnership Authority in the Republic of Bangladesh.
– Discussing with the United Nations Space Generation Advisory Council a draft memorandum of cooperation between the Saudi Space Commission in the Kingdom and the United Nations Space Generation Advisory Council.
