His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, launched municipal projects in Al-Khafji Governorate today from his office. These projects, implemented by the Regional Secretariat, have a total value exceeding 56 million riyals.
His Highness emphasized the wise leadership’s—may God preserve them—commitment to supporting municipal projects and developing infrastructure in residential neighborhoods to serve the region’s residents, both citizens and expatriates, in order to improve the quality of life, facilitate daily life for residents, and promote development and commercial activity. He noted that these projects, inaugurated today, will, God willing, contribute to enhancing the quality of life in Al-Khafji Governorate.
Meanwhile, His Excellency Fahd Al-Jubeir, Secretary of the Eastern Province, explained that these projects include paving, sidewalks, and lighting for a number of roads and streets in Al-Khafji Governorate and its affiliated villages, as well as the paving of several land grants, the development of the waterfront, the completion of the Al-Khafji Cultural Center, and a number of municipal buildings and public facilities.
The meeting was attended by the Governor of Al-Khafji, Mohammed Al-Hazaa, and the Mayor of the province, Engineer Mohammed Al-Hamidani.
