Allowing categories to come directly to the Kingdom and lifting the suspension of travel to Bahrain for citizens under 18 years old

An official source at the Ministry of Interior stated that in light of the great efforts made by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and based on what the competent health authorities in the Kingdom raised.<It has been decided, (first) to allow direct entry into the Kingdom from the countries from which travelers are required to spend (14) days outside the Kingdom Before entering the Kingdom, for the following categories, provided that they apply for the institutional pilgrimage, and the meeting is taken during the duration of the institutional pilgrimage:
1 - Faculty members and the like in universities, colleges and institutes.
2- Male and female teachers in public education.
3- The training body in the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training and training institutes.
4- Grant students.
Excludes the application of the institutional quarantine program for those who have completed or are completing their vaccine doses within the Kingdom, provided that it includes the beneficiaries and their families, and workers in the public and private sectors.
(II) Lifting the suspension of travel of citizens under the age of 18 to the Kingdom of Bahrain, while applying the previously announced requirements for travel of citizens.The source emphasized the need for everyone to adhere to precautionary measures and preventive measures, and not to be lax in applying health requirements.
The source explained that all precautionary measures and preventive measures for travel are subject to continuous evaluation by the Public Health Authority (Weqaya), according to developments in the epidemiological situation.
