The The Public Authority for State Properties intends to regulate the contractual procedures for telecommunications towers located on state-owned properties, and to invest some of the state-owned sites that fall under the authority's control to establish additional towers, by signing a memorandum of understanding with Tawal, a company specialized in providing infrastructure services for the ICT sector.
This approach reinforces the authority's mission to protect state properties and raise their productive and economic efficiency through innovative solutions.
The memorandum comes within the framework of enhancing cooperation that achieves common strategic goals and supports the directives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to establish an advanced digital infrastructure that accelerates the process of digital transformation, build a prosperous digital economy, and an innovative future for the Kingdom. The MoU was signed by Dr. Fahad Bin Mushait, Deputy Governor of KDIPA for Investment and Business Development, and Engineer Mohammed Al Haqbani, CEO of Tawal.
