The Real Estate Development Agency at the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing launched the “Real Estate Developer Excellence Framework” as part of a project to enhance the skills of real estate developers, with the aim of managing real estate development projects professionally. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to support the Kingdom’s housing sector and contribute to increasing the supply of residential real estate.
The launch of the “Real Estate Developer Excellence Framework” is intended to enable qualified real estate developers in the private sector to manage their operations professionally, to serve as a knowledge resource for all those interested in and working in the real estate sector, and as a cornerstone for real estate development by measuring maturity levels, value chains, and the key strategic and support functions and roles upon which real estate development is based.
Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Tawil, Undersecretary for Real Estate Development at the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, explained that “The Real Estate Developer Excellence Framework” consists of 12 core competencies that ensure a real estate developer’s success in their work, classified into basic, strategic, and supporting functions, 6 core functions for real estate developers and 6 strategic and supporting functions to enable them to carry out their core and strategic functions effectively and professionally.
