The UAE government has allocated a budget of 65 billion dirhams ($17.70 billion) for the National Housing Program over the next 20 years.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, recently stated on his official Twitter account: ”Today we approved the Citizen Housing Program in Dubai, allocating a budget of 65 billion dirhams for the next 20 years. We have directed that the number of beneficiaries of the housing program be quadrupled immediately... We have allocated new land sufficient to house citizens for the next 20 years.
