During the “Housing Forum 2022,” the National Housing Company (NHC) announced the development of more than 134,000 housing units within integrated residential communities featuring comprehensive services and amenities that enhance quality of life, featuring modern designs and affordable prices across seven residential suburbs. This brings the total number of projects overseen by the company to 129 residential projects, of which 54 are on Ministry-owned land and 75 others on private-sector land, while the number of units sold in 2021 reached approximately 55,000, with about 24,000 units ready for delivery.
In the same context, Engineer Mohammed Al-Bati, the company’s CEO, confirmed their goal of developing residential projects to provide 300,000 housing options by 2025, in line with the Housing Program’s goals to increase the homeownership rate among Saudi families to 70 percent by 2030.
