The Residential Program revealed its targets for the current year 2022, enabling 180,000 new families to benefit from the various options and solutions of “Residential”, including 130,000 families to live in their homes during 2022, and providing more than 100,000 subsidized mortgages, as an extension of the maturity of the effective partnership with the private sector
Sakani targets in 2022
During the Sakany 2022 forum, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing for Housing Support, Essam Al-Ghamdi, touched on Sakany's provision of 112 projects under construction in partnership with real estate developers, which includes more than 147 thousand housing units with an average price of 700 thousand riyals, noting the facilitated services of the “Sakany” application that contributed to the issuance of more than 607 thousand certificates. More than 607 thousand real estate tax certificates, 31 thousand electronic contracts for residential lands within the “Sakani” plans, and the launch of more than six new services, all available on the smart phone application, in addition to the application recording a remarkable growth in the number of beneficiaries with more than five million visits, and the platform recorded more than 20 million visits.
Last year's targets
Ghamdi explained that the program achieved its targets for last year announced at the beginning of 2021, recording 225761 families, including 186283 families who lived in their homes, bringing the total number of beneficiary families from the beginning of the program to date to 1.This is a continuation of the program's efforts to enable Saudi families to own their first home, within easy and easy electronic procedures, in line with the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 - to reach 70% ownership rate by 2030.
