The Shura Council adopted during its regular session held yesterday, Wednesday, the draft system State lease of real estate and its eviction, submitted by the Finance and Economic Committee, which included 32 articles regulating the mechanism of state lease of real estate and its eviction.

The system aims to regulate the processes of state leasing of real estate by government agencies, according to the needs of government agencies, rationalize the financial costs of government agencies' leasing of real estate, and develop the exploitation of real estate leased by government agencies.

The system also requires the government agency, in coordination with the Authority, to develop an annual plan for its real estate leasing process before the beginning of each fiscal year and publish it on its website or any other means, as specified by the regulation.
