Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority set May 10 as the deadline for business taxpayers to file their April tax return.
The Authority urged its taxpayers to expedite the submission of their tax returns through its website in order to avoid the penalty for failure to pay within the specified period, at 1% of the unpaid tax for every 30 days of delay from the due date.

The withholding tax is one of the tax systems in force in the Kingdom, which is deducted from the total income of a non-resident establishment in the Kingdom, for services provided within the Kingdom, in accordance with the rates specified in Article 63 of the Income Tax Law Regulations.
