The Ministry of Justice announced the issuance of 324 new licenses for lawyers during the first quarter of 2022, The Ministry clarified that the number of trainee lawyers during the same period reached 970, while the number of licenses granted to represent legal entities such as companies and organizations reached 244. The Ministry noted that the Judicial Training Center offered a series of courses as part of the program to prepare lawyers for the bar exam, attended by hundreds of male and female participants in both the professional and training tracks.

The Ministry of Justice offers a suite of services to lawyers through the Najiz portal via simple, accessible, and highly reliable steps, such as the “Apply for a Law License” service, ”Lawyer License Renewal,” and “Registration of a New Trainee Lawyer,” which enables trainee lawyers to apply for registration in the Trainee Lawyers Registry and obtain a “Trainee Lawyer Identification Certificate” electronically, as well as the “Transfer of a Trainee Lawyer to Another Lawyer” service, which allows trainee lawyers to apply to transfer from one lawyer to another and obtain an updated, electronic “Trainee Lawyer Identification Certificate.”
