We can define the term "real estate export" as the sale of real estate to prospective buyers of various nationalities, taking into account a country’s security and political stability as well as its competitive advantages.
Considering the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 since its launch by the architect of the vision, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, may God protect and preserve him, and the development, growth, and sustainability projects along the Red Sea coast and beaches for more than 50 natural islands, and to establish one of the world’s leading entertainment and tourism hubs by providing cultural, sports, and recreational activities, as well as hotels meeting the highest standards, in collaboration with major international companies worldwide, and by streamlining the issuance of entry visas for tourists visiting the Kingdom.
Furthermore, all ministries and government agencies must work together to encourage companies and the private sector to achieve the Vision’s goals in the field of real estate investment, and to develop residential units suitable for all customer segments both within and outside the Kingdom under the supervision of the Council of Economic Affairs. This includes conducting the necessary market studies, enacting legislation and laws regarding foreign ownership of real estate, addressing the crisis in overseas sales and the difficulties in registering properties, and implementing the real-name registration system forrecently launched system, and work to find solutions by providing distinctive and innovative services to increase interest in and demand for Saudi real estate—such as healthcare and airports—diversifying suitable real estate products, and offering various benefits to target customers interested in purchasing, investing, andin Saudi Arabia by intensifying marketing campaigns and achieving the goals of Vision 2030, given the link between the tourism and entertainment sectors and real estate investment opportunities, thereby generating revenue many times greater than what the Kingdom earns from oil, God willing.
And I must not forget Riyadh, the capital, and the focus on it, as well as the effort to increase its population to 15 million by 2030. By then, I expect—with God’s will and strength—that Riyadh will become the new Europe of the Middle East.
