The number of families benefiting from the subsidized mortgage loan for the self-build option has exceeded the “Sakani“ program, 11,600 families across all cities and regions of the Kingdom, from the beginning of 2022 through the end of April, out of 55,760 families that “Sakani” announced had benefited, while the number of families who have moved into their homes reached 67,000.
To qualify for a subsidized loan for self-construction, a citizen must be eligible for housing support, own residential land, hold a valid building permit, have a steady income that qualifies them for the subsidized loan, and not have received housing support previously.
“Sakani” offers a variety of services to beneficiaries of the “self-build” option, allowing them to choose executive “architectural designs” that are both affordable and of high quality, in partnership with a number of national engineering firms, to provide a range of modern architectural designs that comply with the Saudi Building Code, in addition to the “Certified Contractor” service, to facilitate the implementation of architectural designs for beneficiaries of the “Self-Build” and “Interior Design” options.
