The countdown has begun for the end of the registration period for the second phase for unregistered land fees in Riyadh, which ends on June 15, 10 days from now,  the program clarified that after this deadline, more than 20 million square meters of developed land in the city of Riyadh—from among the plots identified by the program but not registered by their owners—will be registered in coordination with the municipal authorities and the Ministry of Justice.

The program expects that approximately 60,000 land parcels will become available, with an average area of 350 m², with each plot potentially containing more than one residential unit, or larger plots comprising groups of multiple residential units in high-rise buildings, which could inject hundreds of thousands of residential units into the real estate supply in Riyadh.

The program indicated that Riyadh accounted for the largest share of the total undeveloped land registered in the program among other cities, with the program recording approximately 100 million m² of land currently under development or subject to fees.
